Oil & Gas
Mechanical and electrical installation, control panels and automation for energy plants and skids, with the documentation the customer requires.
Industries
Paper and board are our core industry: we work every day with paper mills, converters and corrugated board plants. Here you will find, station by station, the lines we work on: paper machine, corrugator, tissue converting, end of line and food processing.
Paper mill
From the headbox to the reel: the line that turns stock into parent reels. In paper mills we work on paper, board and tissue machines, and on the rewinders that prepare reels for converting.
We often work on Valmet and A.Celli machines.

| Station | What happens here | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| 1Headbox | Spreads the diluted stock evenly across the full width of the wire. | Motors, pumps, instrumentation and control panels. |
| 2Forming section | On the forming fabric the water drains and the fibres bond into a sheet. | Mechanical installation, drives and alignment. |
| 3Press section | The presses and felts squeeze more water out of the sheet. | Rolls, felt guides, drives and control circuits. |
| 4Dryer section | Steam-heated cylinders dry the paper. On tissue machines drying takes place on the Yankee cylinder, under a hot-air hood. | Drives, synchronisation, panels and mechanical installation. |
| 5Reel | The dry paper is wound onto the reel spool to form the parent reel. | Speed and tension control, reel change automation. |
| 6Rewinder | The parent reel is unwound, trimmed, slit and rewound into reels of the required sizes. | PLCs, drives, slitter knives and installation. |
| 7Wrapping | Reels are weighed, labelled, wrapped and sent to the warehouse. | Conveyors, end of line and reel handling. |
Corrugated board
A corrugator works as a single machine dozens of metres long: the wet end forms and glues the board, the dry end cuts and stacks it. We handle installation, start-up and maintenance of every section, from the roll stands to the stacker.
We often work on Fosber corrugators.

|---|---|---|
| 1Roll stand and splicer | Unwind the liner and medium reels. The splicer joins the new reel to the expiring one without stopping the line, while a dancer roll keeps the tension steady. | Installation and set-up of roll stands and splicers, sensors, brakes and tension control. |
| 2Single facer | The corrugating rolls flute the paper, the glue unit applies starch to the flute tips and the pressure roll bonds the medium to the first liner: single-face board is born. | Corrugating roll changes, glue unit, steam, drives and adjustments. |
| 3Bridge | The single-face web rises to the bridge and builds up in loops that absorb speed differences between the wet end and the dry end. | Conveyors, web guiding and buffer control. |
| 4Glue machine | After preheating, the applicator roll spreads glue on the flute tips and the metering roll sets the thickness of the glue film. | Roll gap adjustment, glue pan, motors and panels. |
| 5Double backer | The second liner is joined to the single-face web. Three steam-heated sections with pressure shoes cure the glue; a final cold section pulls the board between two belts. | Hot plates and steam circuits, shoes, traction belts and synchronised drives. |
| 6Rotary shear | An auxiliary rotary shear cuts the board web during order changes and removes sections to be scrapped, without slowing the line. | Knives, drives and synchronisation with the line. |
| 7Slitter scorer | Slits the board to the widths of the order and applies the scores where the box will be folded. At each order change the knives and scoring heads position themselves automatically. | Axes, tool-positioning robots, knives and scoring heads. |
| 8Cut-off | Cuts the sheets to the required length, on one or two levels, with rotating knives synchronised with board speed. Waste is diverted out of the line. | Drives, cut-length control and waste diverters. |
| 9Stacker | Slows the sheets down, forms the stacks and sends them to the warehouse or to converting. | Conveyors, suction, braking brushes and stacking platforms. |
Tissue converting
From the parent reel to wrapped rolls: unwind stand, embosser, rewinder, accumulator, log saw and packaging. We work on every machine in the line and on the transfers between them.
We often work on PCMC (Paper Converting Machine Company) lines.

| Station | What happens here | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| 1Unwind stand | Unwinds the parent reel at controlled speed and tension. Multi-ply lines use several unwinds, one per ply. | Drives, tension control, reel change. |
| 2Embosser | Embosses the pattern into the paper and bonds the plies together with glue: embossing and lamination. | Embossing rolls, gluing and adjustments. |
| 3Rewinder | Perforates the paper and winds it onto cardboard cores to form logs; the tail sealer glues down the final tail. | Axes, synchronisation and winding cycle. |
| 4Accumulator | Buffers logs between the rewinder and the log saw, so the two machines can run at different rates. | Conveyors, sensors and control logic. |
| 5Log saw | Cuts the logs into finished rolls with a circular blade that is sharpened automatically. | Blade units, grinding wheels, drives and guards. |
| 6Packaging | Wrappers and bundlers pack the rolls in film, then the packs are palletised. | Wrappers, bundlers and palletisers. |
Packaging
From product to shipping: case erectors, case packers, case sealers, checkweighers, palletisers and stretch wrappers. We work both for machine builders and for the companies that run the machines.

| Station | What happens here | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| 1Case erector | Picks flat blanks from the magazine, erects the case and closes the bottom. | Format adjustments, suction cups, actuators and automation. |
| 2Case packer | A pick-and-place system picks the products and places them in the case, in the quantity and pattern required. | Axes, grippers, sensors and cycle programming. |
| 3Case sealer | Folds the flaps and seals the case with adhesive tape or hot melt. | Taping heads, glue units, drive belts and format changes. |
| 4Checkweighing and labelling | A checkweigher verifies the weight of every case and a labeller applies a label with codes and batch data. | Scales, automatic rejects, labellers and ERP connection. |
| 5Palletiser | A robot stacks the cases on the pallet, layer by layer, following the load pattern. | Robots, grippers, safety cells and palletising patterns. |
| 6Stretch wrapper | The pallet turns on the turntable while the film carriage moves up and down, wrapping it in stretch film. | Stretch wrappers, roller conveyors and pallet conveyors. |
Food
From ingredients to a sealed, labelled and inspected container. We work on food processing, filling and packaging lines, planning the work so that production is not interrupted.

|---|---|---|
| 1Dosing | Hoppers and screw feeders dose the ingredients according to the recipe. | Feeders, load cells and recipe management on PLC. |
| 2Processing | Mixers and cookers with agitators prepare the product at controlled temperature. | Motors and agitators, temperature control, control panels. |
| 3Heat treatment | A plate heat exchanger pasteurises or cools the product before filling. | Pumps, valves, instrumentation and control loops. |
| 4Filler | Filling valves dose the product into jars or bottles. | Valves, dosing, format changes and cleaning cycles. |
| 5Capper | Applies and tightens caps or lids on every container. | Capping heads, torque settings and cap feeding. |
| 6Labeller | Applies the label and prints the batch and best-before date. | Labellers, coding printers and synchronisation. |
| 7Inspection | A metal detector and a checkweigher check every container and reject those that fail. | Integration of inspection systems, automatic rejects and traceability. |
